Signal Centers Children's Program offers a unique 6-week summer camp for children and youth 3 - 18 years old, of all abilities. Camp Signal offers a quality camp experience while specializing in social and emotional development through fun projects and activities, and provides age-appropriate activities in art, movement, music, crafts, sponsors, water play, games, singing, dancing, drama, science, and technology.

One week prior to camp also includes a unique opportunity for children with communication challenges to gain skills. Chatter Camp gives children who are nonverbal a voice. All the children use communication devices to not only learn but also "talk" to each other.

"Aaah summer camp - friendships, recreation, music, exposure to new things. Camp Signal provides a safe yet adventurous experience for children with disabilities, providing special expertise and low camper / staff ratios, and creative activities,” said Donna McConnico, CEO.

The camp is supported, in part, through funding from the City of Chattanooga.
